Eat Dirt Mud Run at Eagle Church
This past weekend I had the unique opportunity to photograph the Eat Dirt Mud Run, which took place at my church, Eagle Church.
Eagle teamed up with Shunem Ministries, a local Missions House serving Overseas Missionaries who are on Furlough, to provide a family friendly Mud Run at Eagle. This was a great community experience and excellent way to reach out to other families/friends who are not connected to a local church.
I was able to walk around during the three different 'heats' and capture some pretty sweet shots. I, myself, was intending NOT to get muddy... but I was in the splash zone several times, so it was inevitable! The course was a 5K and lasted roughly 30 minutes a heat. There were many obstacles including mud pits (of course), beams to cross, hills, a slip'n slide, and towers to scale. It was a beautiful day and I had a blast being a part of it.
