A Night to Shine 2019

A Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God's love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older.

I had the opportunity to capture the night. The event had several activities going on, starting with attendees picking out a corsage or boutonnière. They then walked the red carpet, where they were greeted with signs and paparazzi. They also had the opportunity to get their nails painted, hair done, shoes shined and/or hands manicured.

The attendees then headed to karaoke and a photo booth, with dinner served and a dance to wrap it up. The night ended with a video message from Tim Tebow, the event founder, and all attendees being crowned kings and queens of the prom.

I have heard of this event for a while now, and it was such a unique opportunity and pleasure to be able to capture the night! I submitted some of the top clips to the Tim Tebow Foundation that night, then produced the video seen below for the host church, St. John Lutheran Church & School.

Seeing all the smiles on the faces of each attendee, you realize how special of a night this really is for so many people who might have never had such an opportunity to shine.
